Develop, lead, and optimize regional sales and revenue growth strategies that expand market presence, strengthen customer acquisition, improve sales productivity, and deliver sustainable commercial growth across multiple geographic markets. This role is responsible for establishing regional sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, managing strategic accounts and sales pipelines, developing market expansion initiatives, and aligning sales execution with broader organizational objectives. The successful candidate will collaborate with business development, marketing, revenue operations (RevOps), customer success, product management, finance, analytics, channel partners, country teams, and executive leadership to accelerate revenue generation and strengthen competitive positioning. The role also involves territory planning, sales forecasting, pipeline management, account segmentation, go-to-market (GTM) strategy, channel development, sales enablement, pricing and commercial analysis, artificial intelligence (AI)-powered sales intelligence, Generative AI-assisted prospecting, predictive revenue analytics, CRM automation, performance dashboards, and continuous improvements that increase win rates, pipeline velocity, customer lifetime value, market share, and overall revenue performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, International Business, Economics, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field; MBA or relevant commercial leadership qualifications are highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Sales Strategy Director, Revenue Growth Lead, Sales Director, Commercial Manager, Business Development Manager, Regional Account Manager, Revenue Strategy Manager, or a similar sales and commercial leadership role.
- Strong understanding of regional sales management, sales strategy, revenue growth, business development, go-to-market (GTM) planning, territory management, strategic account management, consultative selling, channel sales, and commercial operations.
- Extensive experience developing regional sales plans, managing sales pipelines, establishing revenue targets, identifying market opportunities, acquiring new customers, expanding existing accounts, negotiating commercial agreements, and delivering measurable revenue growth.
- Strong experience with sales forecasting, territory and quota planning, pipeline coverage analysis, opportunity management, account segmentation, customer prioritization, sales capacity planning, and performance management.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, HubSpot CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Pipedrive, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, Clari, Outreach, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of revenue operations (RevOps), CRM management, sales enablement, customer relationship management, channel management, partner sales, pricing strategies, contract negotiations, customer retention, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Strong understanding of commercial metrics including annual recurring revenue (ARR), monthly recurring revenue (MRR), sales-qualified leads (SQLs), pipeline velocity, win rate, average deal size, customer acquisition cost (CAC), customer lifetime value (CLV), quota attainment, and revenue retention.
- Experience developing regional go-to-market strategies, entering new markets, establishing distribution or channel partnerships, coordinating multi-country sales initiatives, and adapting commercial strategies to different customer segments and market conditions.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI), Generative AI, predictive lead scoring, AI-powered sales intelligence, automated prospecting, conversational intelligence, revenue forecasting automation, CRM automation, and emerging SalesTech technologies is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, strategic-thinking, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate sales performance, identify revenue opportunities, optimize territory investments, resolve commercial challenges, and develop scalable growth strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with regional sales teams, country managers, executives, customers, distributors, channel partners, marketing teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience supporting SaaS, technology, financial services, telecommunications, professional services, e-commerce, manufacturing, retail, cloud services, enterprise software, or multinational B2B and B2C organizations is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and program management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple territories, strategic accounts, sales initiatives, forecasts, commercial negotiations, partner relationships, and cross-functional priorities simultaneously.
- Professional certifications such as Salesforce Sales Cloud Certification, HubSpot Sales Software Certification, Certified Professional Sales Leader (CPSL), Certified Sales Leadership Professional (CSLP), or equivalent sales and commercial qualifications are considered an advantage.
