Regional Sales Manager -selling into Facilities & Safety Solutions 100k + base

My client is seeking an ambitious and entrepreneurial RSM / Business Development Manager to drive market adoption of an innovative work-at-height solution within the facilities maintenance sector across Germany. This role will focus on creating demand, developing strategic relationships, influencing key stakeholders, and supporting channel partners to achieve significant growth objectives.

The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying early adopters, engaging with industry influencers and safety organizations, and increasing awareness across light industrial, commercial, retail, and public-sector facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute market development strategies to drive adoption and revenue growth.
• Identify and engage early-adopter organizations within the facilities maintenance sector.
• Conduct product demonstrations and on-site presentations for prospective customers and key stakeholders.
• Build relationships with health and safety leaders, facilities managers, and industry decision-makers.
• Establish and maintain connections with relevant safety institutions, industry bodies, and professional associations.
• Represent the business at exhibitions, open days, trade shows, seminars, and industry events.
• Gather and communicate market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights.
• Develop customer success stories and case studies to increase market awareness and credibility.
• Collaborate with channel partners and internal stakeholders to support commercial objectives.
• Contribute to strategic planning and market growth initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years' experience in business development or sales within facilities maintenance, facilities management, access equipment, safety solutions, or a related sector.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with and influence health and safety professionals and senior decision-makers.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of developing new business opportunities.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent relationship-building, presentation, and communication skills.
• Existing network within facilities management companies, contractors, or major end-user organizations an advantage.

• Basic proficiency in English.
