Regulatory Compliance Specialist (m/f/d)

About us

We are working with a client who is a growing business in the mechanical and industrial engineering space, known for delivering high quality, standards compliant products across their sector. As they continue to scale, they're looking to strengthen their compliance and technical documentation function with a dedicated specialist who can take ownership of conformity assessments and risk analysis across their product range.

Tasks

• Conduct conformity assessments and risk assessments, moderating these together with interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with relevant guidelines, standards and legal requirements, including the Machinery Directive and Low Voltage Directive
• Continuously develop and improve processes around compliance coordination and technical documentation
• Derive content for technical documentation such as operating instructions and installation declarations
• Work closely with the technical writing team to transfer content into modern editorial systems
• Support specialist departments in preparing technical content that is structured, understandable and standards compliant
• Review final technical documentation before publication, ensuring the highest quality standards
• Contribute directly to creating and maintaining content within the editorial system

Profile

• A completed degree in mechanical engineering, or a comparable technical qualification and relevant professional experience
• Understanding of regulatory compliance, conformity assessment and risk assessment, or strong interest in developing expertise in these areas
• Good working knowledge of relevant standards, guidelines and regulatory requirements, with a willingness to keep learning
• A structured way of working and genuine drive to improve processes
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly
• Experience with editorial systems or CE management tools is a plus but not required
