Job Summary

We are looking for a Remote Java Developer (Fresher) to design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Java, object-oriented programming, and database integration. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high‑quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, efficient Java applications.
• Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and developers to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Follow coding standards, best practices, and implement automated tests (unit testing).
• Participate in code reviews and maintain proper documentation.
• Identify and resolve issues in both production and non-production environments.
• Design schemas, write queries, and integrate Java applications with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Engage in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives for continuous improvement.
• Learn and implement emerging Java technologies and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java and object‑oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or Java EE.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and SQL queries.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Basic knowledge of front‑end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
