Job Summary

Rivia Mind is expanding our distinguished Psychiatry team (8+) and is seeking a Board‑Eligible or Board‑Certified Psychiatrist who values clinical excellence and comprehensive patient care. As a physician‑founded practice, we understand the importance of creating an environment where psychiatrists can practice meaningfully, supported by a robust operational infrastructure. • Work Location: Remote (hybrid available upon request; we have an office near Bryant Park in New York City)

Responsibilities

• Provide services to a diverse demographic of patients, with an average caseload of 50 patients per week (8‑12 per day), adapted to clinical judgment and patient needs
• Deliver evidence‑based psychotherapy and medication management
• Develop personalized treatment plans for diverse patients (≈50 per week)
• Provide care via a telehealth platform
• Offer guidance to peers and supervisors, and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

• Doctorate: Doctor of Medicine from an accredited school; completed a psychiatry residency with diverse rotations, including primary care (neurology, internal medicine, OB‑GYN considered a plus)
• Active, unrestricted medical license and DEA number in at least one of the following states: NewYork, NewJersey, Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts
• Board‑Eligible or Board‑Certified in psychiatry
• Interest in growing into a supervisory/leadership role within the practice
• Proven experience and desire to support psychotherapy treatment, with modality experience in CBT, DBT, and preferably psychodynamic
• Experience working in an outpatient setting and with telehealth/telemedicine
• Prescribing medications, confidently and efficiently documenting and managing patient sessions
• Excellent clinical knowledge, communication skills, and ability to educate patients
• Proficient use of diverse technology platforms to support care delivery and documentation
