Tax Associate, Tax Specialist

Responsibilities

• You prepare financial accounting, annual financial statements, and both corporate and personal tax returns.
• You are the primary point of contact for our clients.
• You coordinate cooperation with tax authorities and tax consultants.
• As you gain experience, you identify and assess more complex tax issues and develop tax‑strategic approaches for our clients.
• In addition to your day‑to‑day technical work, you contribute to our development as a modern tax‑tech company and take part in exciting projects related to digitalization, processes, people & skills, and organization.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellte/r) or a relevant degree
• Advanced qualifications such as Steuerfachwirt are a plus
• One or more years of professional experience in tax advisory within a firm (Junior, Regular, or Senior — we will determine the fit together)
• Knowledge of national tax law (international tax law is an advantage)
• Proficient in DATEV
• Interest in technology, digitalization, and innovation in tax advisory
• Structured and reliable working style
