Retail Excellence Trainer (DE)

Stellenbeschreibung:

The Retail Excellence Trainer (DE) is responsible for ensuring that Xiaomi customer-facing teams and partner networks in Germany have the product knowledge, sales capabilities and confidence required to deliver exceptional customer experiences and commercial performance.

Based within the European Retail Excellence & Capability organisation, this role has primary responsibility for Germany while also supporting training deployment across other European markets when required. The role combines high-quality training delivery with field coaching, certification, frontline insight and continuous capability development.

  • Deliver engaging and effective product, sales, customer experience and retail-process training to Xiaomi frontline teams and partner networks.
  • Act as the primary Retail Capability training contact for Germany, ensuring European learning programmes are effectively deployed and understood in the local market.
  • Deliver classroom, virtual, in-store and practical vehicle training using the appropriate format for each learning requirement.
  • Support new vehicle launches, store openings, system deployments and major commercial or customer-experience initiatives.
  • Develop deep expertise in Xiaomi vehicles, technologies, ecosystem, competitors and customer propositions, and translate this knowledge into compelling frontline learning.
  • Deliver practical sales training and coaching covering customer engagement, needs discovery, product presentation, vehicle and ecosystem demonstration, test drives, objection handling, configuration, decision support and closing.
  • Support frontline onboarding, assessments and certification, ensuring required competence levels are achieved ahead of operational deployment.
  • Provide targeted coaching and refresher interventions where capability or performance gaps are identified.
  • Gather structured feedback from trainees, stores, partners and field observations, and provide actionable insights to the European Retail Capability team.
  • Support the localisation of European learning programmes where market requirements differ, while maintaining European consistency.
  • Support training activities in other European markets where required, particularly during launches or periods of increased capability demand.
  • Participate in Train-the-Trainer programmes and support future trainers as the European network expands.
  • Maintain accurate training participation, assessment, certification and effectiveness records, and contribute to European reporting.
  • Work closely with Retail Experience & Standards, Partner Operations, Sales Operations and Product teams to ensure training remains connected to operational reality.
  • Strong experience delivering automotive sales, product or customer-experience training, ideally within an OEM, importer or dealer-network environment.
  • Previous frontline automotive sales experience is highly desirable, and the ability to build credibility quickly with Sales Advisors and retail teams is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of and genuine enthusiasm for cars, automotive technology and the European automotive market.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, presentation and coaching skills across classroom, virtual and practical learning environments.
  • Strong understanding of automotive sales processes and the ability to connect product knowledge with customer needs and commercial outcomes.
  • Ability to explain complex vehicle technologies in clear, simple and commercially relevant customer language.
  • Comfortable using digital learning platforms, presentation tools and modern training technologies.
  • Excellent professional German and English are mandatory. Other European languages are desirable.
  • Strong stakeholder-management skills and confidence working with European HQ, market teams and external retail partners.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout Germany and regularly across Europe when required.
