Risk Control Technical Specialist

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk analysis through technical investigations, risk evaluation and loss analyses
• Provide timely information to the Underwriting department for further risk evaluation and assessment
• Monitor accounts' programs, identify required improvements, and present recommendations for enhancements
• Manage and maintain portfolios and conduct analysis to ensure integrity of the book of business
• Provide high level technical services, evaluations and policyholder training in an area of specialty
• Communicate technical conclusions internally and externally
• Influence Underwriters', Agents' and client behaviors through negotiation and relationship-building
• Manage accounts by formulating an assessment and improvement strategy
• Provide high level technical services, evaluations and policyholder training

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience required
• Minimum of 5 years of risk control experience within Wind, Power, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Solar Power required
• National Board Certification and other professional insurance or industry certifications are preferred
• Risk management expertise and experience in the operations and maintenance of renewable energy assets are strongly desired
