For our Division 2, "IT Operations," we are seeking your expertise as
Data Center Enterprise Architect (m/f/d)
The position can be based at our offices in Darmstadt, Giessen, Kassel, or at our branch in Fulda. This is a full-time position, which can generally be split into part-time hours.

• You will develop and implement IT strategies and solutions for the operation and further development of business applications and services
• You will create and apply an Enterprise Architecture Framework (set of rules and guidelines) for business applications and services
• You will consolidate and harmonize various IT operational scenarios and their transformation
• You will develop and create concepts, ideally IT roadmaps based on EA frameworks
• You will independently evaluate new and existing business applications and services
• You provide strategic consulting to clients and conduct workshops to develop an IT architecture
• You are responsible for documentation within the scope of service request fulfillment in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001
• You will implement agile methods to accelerate product delivery and connect isolated business and product areas
• You will serve as the interface to strategic portfolio and partner management and contribute to portfolio management
• You will actively collaborate with the member cooperatives of ekom21 (govdigital, VITAKO)

The salary is based on a pay scale up to EG 13 TVöD (VKA) and is subject to a final individual assessment and personal qualifications.

• A degree in computer science or at least three years of training in the IT field
• Relevant professional experience in holistic consulting as well as experience with heterogeneous IT landscapes and their consolidation
• In-depth knowledge of IT architectures, IT strategies, and processes, as well as experience in implementing architecture roadmaps and designs
• Knowledge of designing and building IT security infrastructures, service infrastructures, networks, and cloud services
• Experience in analyzing IT infrastructure, platforms & services, as well as IT organization and IT services
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Confident demeanor, negotiation skills, and strong communication abilities
• The ability to identify problems, develop practical solutions, and implement them consistently
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
• Class B driver’s license
