S/4 HANA Programme Manager

For the people who don't need the title explained.

We're representing a global transformation consultancy on a senior appointment for an SAP Programme Manager to lead major, complex S/4HANA transformation programmes.

This isn't a role for someone looking to step up into programme management.

It's for someone who has already been there.

Someone who has sat in front of the board when the programme is under pressure.

Someone who understands that delivering a €100m+ transformation isn't just about SAP — it's about people, politics, commercials, risk, scope and making difficult decisions early.

We're looking for the top end of the market.

You should have a track record of:

• Not a workstream.
• Not a PMO.
• You owned the programme.
• Operating at C-suite level
• Controlling the commercials
• Taking control when things go wrong

You can hold your own with CIOs, CFOs, CEOs and transformation leadership — and you're comfortable challenging them when necessary.

You understand how large SAP programmes are shaped, priced and delivered.

Fixed-price experience is particularly interesting.

You understand what happens when scope moves, assumptions change and margins come under pressure — and you know how to manage it.

Every major transformation hits turbulence.

The difference is what happens next.

You know how to identify the real problem, establish control, get stakeholders aligned and move the programme forward.

This is NOT for you if...

• Your experience is primarily SAP project management rather than programme leadership.
• You've mainly managed PMOs or individual workstreams.
• Your commercial exposure ends when the contract is signed.
• You need someone else to manage the senior client relationship.
• You're looking for your first genuinely transformational programme.

It IS for you if...

• You’ve delivered complex SAP transformations.
• You’ve managed senior stakeholders when the pressure was on.
• You’ve dealt with commercials, scope and risk.
• And you can walk into a complicated programme and quickly work out what needs to happen next.

You'll be joining a major global consulting environment with access to large-scale SAP transformation programmes, senior client relationships and significant commercial responsibility.

This is a position where your experience will be used, rather than simply listed on a CV.
