Sales Development Manager, APJ - Sydney

Job Overview

We are looking for a Sales Development Manager to lead a multilingual, multi‑country sales development team across both inbound and outbound motions in the APJ region. You will own pipeline creation across Akamai’s Security and Cloud priorities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, partner teams, and regional stakeholders
• Own inbound lead response and outbound prospecting
• Demonstrate partner engagement, data‑driven coaching, operational rigor, and the ability to manage complexity across multiple APJ markets
• Data‑driven coaching, pipeline inspection, operational rigor and partner collaboration across APJ
• Expand stakeholder management expectations across sales, marketing, partner teams, operations, enablement, and global SDR leadership

Qualifications

• Experienced in sales, including identification of business needs and opportunities
• Experience in sales training and people management
• Experience working in a cross‑functional environment
• Excellent presentation, communication, and consulting skills
• Proficient with tools such as Lusha, ZoomInfo, TechTarget, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Nooks, SalesLoft, Salesforce, Gemini, Qualified, and Webex Contact Center
