Sales Engineer - Print & Packaging

In this role, you drive sales growth for a global colour management leader in the print and packaging sector. You will work with printers, ink manufacturers, and brand owners, shaping market strategy and expanding the partner network. You’ll deliver demos and technical presentations, gather market insights, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects. This position blends field sales with technical expertise in a hybrid Germany-based setup, with travel across the territory. You’ll have a meaningful impact on market expansion and customer success in a fast-paced industry.

• Develop and execute market segmentation strategies with the Business Development Manager
• Engage large printing organisations, ink manufacturers and brand owners to drive growth
• Support and grow business through local distributors and strengthen channel partnerships
• Plan and deliver sales calls, product demonstrations, and technical presentations
• Generate and qualify new sales leads to expand market share and pipeline
• Provide market insight on competitor activity, customer needs and industry trends
• Collaborate with technical support, marketing and administrative teams to ensure project delivery
• Support wider sales and marketing initiatives as required

• Degree or diploma in industrial engineering, science, printing technology, or a related discipline
• Extensive experience in sales or business development within the print and packaging industry
• Strong understanding of printing processes and colour management systems (highly desirable)
• Excellent communication skills in German and English (written and spoken)
• Proven ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with strong organizational skills
