Sales Head - Germany

In this role you will help steer the SBU Savoury Spreads sales strategy for the German market, driving volume and profit with distributor partners. You’ll collaborate with Sales leadership to plan and execute market-specific sales plans, trade marketing, and pricing aligned with the group policy. You will monitor performance, support category/brand development, and ensure timely distributor settlements. This position offers impact across channels and brands within a fast-growing multinational, with a focus on growth, collaboration, and market expansion.

• Develop the sales strategy for SBU SS in the German market to maximize volume and profit
• Prepare and propose dynamic sales plans by channel/brand/SKU
• Set distribution targets with distributors and monitor achievement
• Define distributor terms and commercial policy in line with Group policy
• Propose annual SBU trade marketing plans and manage budget
• Execute SBU visibility strategy with distributors
• Implement and monitor pricing strategy for SBU assortment
• Analyze market performance and provide recommendations for category/brand development
• Supervise trade marketing plans and budget in the market
• Support relationship-building with key customers based on distributor needs
• Conduct performance analyses pre- and post-trade marketing activities and plan next steps
• Ensure timely settlements by distributors
• Educate distributors on brands and market trends in Slovenian market and propose changes

• Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG sales with strong distributor relationship management
• Proven success in managing distributors including negotiations, pricing, and trade marketing execution
• Experience owning a significant commercial portfolio and delivering sales growth, preferably in the DACH region
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in sales planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and budget management
• Native German and fluent English
• Willingness to travel across South of Germany
