Your Opportunity
As part of our Service & Sales Support team, you'll become the central point of contact for customers, suppliers, shipyards, and internal departments, ensuring orders are processed efficiently and service activities are delivered to the highest standard.
No two days are the same—you'll combine customer service, sales support, logistics coordination, administration, and technical product support in a varied and rewarding role.
What You'll Be Doing
Customer & Sales Support
- Manage customer enquiries relating to spare parts, quotations, orders, and after-sales support.
- Build strong relationships with customers by providing timely updates and delivering an exceptional service experience.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding product availability, lead times, pricing, delivery schedules, and replacement components.
- Support the sales team by preparing quotations, maintaining customer records, and ensuring accurate order processing.
Order & Service Coordination
- Coordinate spare parts deliveries from enquiry through to successful completion.
- Work closely with suppliers, logistics providers, shipyards, and internal departments to ensure efficient order fulfilment.
- Monitor order progress, proactively communicate delays, and provide practical solutions to customers.
- Ensure pricing, product information, discounts, and order documentation are accurate before processing.
Service & Travel Coordination
- Organise international travel arrangements for service engineers, including flights, accommodation, travel documentation, registrations, and customer communications.
- Coordinate service visits with customers, shipyards, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales documentation, and filing systems.
- Prepare reports and provide administrative support for sales, finance, and management teams.
- Assist with invoicing, financial documentation, and general office administration.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by helping optimise internal processes and customer service standards.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who enjoys working in an international environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
You'll Ideally Have
- Previous experience in Sales Support, Inside Sales, Customer Service, Order Management, Commercial Administration, or Service Coordination.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
- Experience coordinating customer orders or working with suppliers and logistics.
- Good attention to detail and strong administrative skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across different teams.
- Fluent German and good English language skills.
Experience within marine, engineering, manufacturing, industrial equipment, or technical products would be an advantage but is not essential.
