Samlink Test Manager

We are searching for an experienced Test Manager to lead QA for Kyndryl’s banking and payment applications. The role involves coordinating cross‑functional teams, ensuring rigorous testing, and driving quality across our mobile, office, and online banking products.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate end‑to‑end testing activities for financial applications.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases that cover functional, integration, and performance requirements.
• Oversee QA methods, tooling, and metrics using VersionOne and Jira.
• Coordinate with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to define quality objectives and report status throughout the software development pipeline.
• Ensure smooth operation for our large user base by managing defect lifecycle and release readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement of test processes and tooling in an Agile environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 5 years of experience as a Test Manager in IT testing projects.
• Proven experience in orchestrating the QA area – test planning, stakeholder coordination, and comprehensive reporting.
• ISTQB Foundation certification.
• Fluent in English and Finnish for daily communication.
• Strong knowledge of banking systems, especially cards, loans, payments, and international payments.
• Experience with VersionOne and Jira as test management tools.
• Background check may be performed in accordance with Kyndryl’s recruitment guidelines and the Security Clearance Act.

• Experience with overall banking applications and services.
• Specific experience in the payments area.

The role is based in Espoo and Jyväskylä. Candidates must be located in one of these areas.
