SAP Engineer

ProPursuit is currently looking for an experienced SAP Engineer for a world leading Fintech client of ours based in Nuremberg, Germany.

This role will offer hybrid remote working, requiring to be onsite 4 days per week.

You will support a central master data system that is crucial for controlling our acquiring system for international customers. You will take on activities in programming, planning and design of the implementation.

Your role:

• Support in the conception and implementation of innovative solution concepts in SAP ABAP/4 & ABAP OO in ERP 6.0 EHP8
• Development and support of interfaces to non-SAP systems
• Error analysis and elimination to ensure smooth processes
• Advice and support for customers and departments with regard to our self-developed SAP applications
• Optimization and further development of existing technical solutions to improve performance and reduce complexity

Your profile:

• Completed studies in computer science,business informatics,mathematics or comparable training
• Experience as an SAP developer with good knowledge of ABAP/ABAP OO and dialog programming
• Basic knowledge of the FI, MM and SD modules
• Basic knowledge in the areas of Dynpro, ALV reports, SAP script and interfaces (iDoc, BAPI, XML, batch input, web services)
• Analytical skills, solution-oriented thinking and an independent way of working
• Service mentalityas well as good communication and teamwork skills
• Good knowledge of spoken and written German and English
