SAP Product Costing Senior Manager - Retail

The Work

1. Engage with senior client Finance executives on business challenges, trends, and the potential value of SAP solutions (current and future).
2. Lead customers in defining their SAP journey through business case and roadmap development, including during sales origination, proposal development, and client presentations.
3. Architect end‑to‑end Finance solutions leveraging SAP technologies, custom apps, and partner solutions.
4. Clearly explain SAP’s Business AI strategy, its capabilities, and roadmap. Identify functional areas where AI can deliver real value to clients.
5. Deploy AI use cases within SAP delivery to improve efficiency and explain how these AI‑driven improvements can enhance project delivery.
6. Advise, design, and deliver Finance solutions based on the latest industry and technology best practices, leveraging SAP solutions and embedded innovation.
7. Lead large project teams of varying size and scope, helping them achieve transformational roadmaps onsite with clients or within Accenture.
8. Become a trusted expert and advisor to clients, team, and Accenture leadership by staying current on regulations, trends, and innovations across your area of expertise.
9. Be a thought leader, build assets, best practices, and develop the next level of transformation experts.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 9 years of SAP functional/technical expertise, including Product costing (additional experience with Cost Accounting processing such as Inventory Valuation, Margin Analysis, Overhead Accounting or Project Accounting is preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in SAP projects supporting Retail clients (SAP support / managed services experience will not be considered).
• Minimum 3 end‑to‑end SAP S/4 implementations, including project planning, estimation, and solution architecture for Retail clients.
• Experience managing SAP delivery teams in a Global Delivery model.
• Prior experience in a Consulting/Advisory role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 5 years’ work experience). If an Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6‑year work experience.

Annual Salary Range

• California: $132,500 to $338,300
• Cleveland: $122,700 to $270,600
• Colorado: $132,500 to $292,200
• District of Columbia: $141,100 to $311,200
• Maine: $112,900 to $249,000
• Illinois: $122,700 to $292,200
• Maryland: $132,500 to $292,200
• Massachusetts: $132,500 to $311,200
• Minnesota: $132,500 to $292,200
• New York: $122,700 to $338,300
