The Junior Clinical Cooperation Unit "Multiparametric Methods for Early Detection of Prostate Cancer", led by PD Dr. med. Magdalena Görtz, operates at the interface of the DKFZ and the Department of Urology at Heidelberg University Hospital. Our interdisciplinary team integrates clinical research, medical imaging, and machine learning to develop clinically relevant tools for individualized cancer detection and risk stratification.
PROMETHEUS is a DKFZ-led international research consortium on AI agents funded through the European Innovation Council Pathfinder program. The project brings together leading clinical and scientific institutions (DKFZ, Heidelberg University Hospital, Erasmus MC, Karolinska Institutet, Radboud University Medical Center and Umeå University).
We are seeking an experienced and highly committed scientific project manager to support the DKFZ in the successful implementation of this ambitious four-year European consortium at the intersection of cancer research, clinical medicine and trustworthy AI.
You will assume a central operational role within PROMETHEUS and act as a trusted interface between the project coordinator, consortium partners and administrative stakeholders.
We are looking for an excellent project manager with a scientific background, strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in enabling ambitious international research.
