Senior Accountant, German Speaking

• Oversee day-to-day general accounting activities and drive monthly, quarterly, and annual closing operations in compliance with German GAAP (HGB)
• Prepare and submit accurate financial packages under IFRS to support global corporate reporting
• Serve as a technical supervisor and mentor for two operational accountants handling Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Direct intercompany account reconciliations and manage asset accounting
• Actively participate as a key accounting stakeholder in the deployment and refinement of an ERP platform
• Function as a main point of contact during internal and external financial audits

Requirements

• High proficiency in German (C1) for local accounting
• High proficiency in English (C1) for cross-border communications
• Significant hands-on experience in corporate accounting
• Comprehensive command of local closing procedures (HGB)
• University degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting OR a vocational commercial training background supplemented by a recognized Bilanzbuchhalter certification
• Solution-oriented approach, strong interpersonal skills, and a pragmatic hands-on attitude
