Senior Accountant Germany

In this role you will deliver German GAAP and IFRS accounting for entities in Germany, while working within Netsuite and integrated financial systems. You will support month-end and year-end closings, audits, and liaise with German tax advisors. You’ll contribute to process analysis and improvement projects, including automation, to scale finance operations. The opportunity sits in NRW with home-office flexibility and involves cross-functional collaboration to strengthen financial reporting and controls.

• Finance accounting under HGB/IFRS as applicable
• Accountant work in Netsuite and integrated systems
• Month-end and year-end closing activities
• Audit preparation and coordination with tax advisors
• Reconciliation of Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations and Accounts Payable
• Record transactions, post journals and reconcile accounts
• Prepare financial statements and management reports
• Finance process analysis and improvement initiatives

• Senior Accountant with at least 3 years of experience
• Strong knowledge of German GAAP HGB and/or IFRS
• Fluent German and good English
• Experience using Oracle Netsuite or similar ERP/financial systems
