About the Role
As a Senior Android Developer (m/f/d), you will take full ownership of our Android application, driving its architecture, scalability, and long‑term evolution. You’ll play a key role in shaping the technical vision of the app, leveraging modern Android technologies and best practices while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams. You’ll be expected to bring strong opinions on architecture, performance, and developer experience, helping the team build a world‑class mobile product.
Tech Stack

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable, maintainable Android applications using modern Android architecture (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture).
- Drive adoption of Jetpack Compose for building declarative, responsive UIs.
- Ensure best practices in modularization, code quality, testing, and performance optimization; define and evolve the app’s architecture, ensuring scalability and long‑term maintainability.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high‑quality, user‑centric features.
- Own the delivery pipeline, including CI/CD, testing (unit/UI), and release management.
- Ensure app stability through monitoring, logging, and performance tracking tools.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for architecture decisions, features, and technical processes.
- Stay up to date with the latest Android trends, tools, and frameworks; proactively introduce improvements to the codebase, tooling, and development processes.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Android development with strong expertise in Kotlin.
- Deep understanding of the Android SDK and modern Android development practices.
- Hands‑on experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines & Flow, Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger), and REST APIs (Retrofit/OkHttp).
- Strong knowledge of clean architecture principles, design patterns, and modularization.
- Experience with testing (JUnit, Espresso, MockK) and writing maintainable, testable code.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
- Proven ability to take ownership of complex projects and deliver high‑quality results independently.
- Strong focus on performance, scalability, and user experience.
