Overview

In this senior role, you lead the bring-up and operation of a high-volume 300 mm wafer test infrastructure for electronic-photonic ICs. You set up and qualify ATE test cells, develop automated test programs for DC, RF, and electro-optical characterization, and collaborate with vendors on probe cards. You analyze wafer data to drive pass/fail decisions and help scale characterization toward production. You’ll work cross-functionally to improve yield, reliability, and test efficiency, at a startup-focused company building graphene-based photonics. Verantwortungsbereiche

Set up, qualify, and calibrate ATE test cells for high-volume wafer testing
Develop and debug automated test programs for DC, RF, optical, and electro-optical characterization
Own probe card specifications, qualification, and integration with vendors
Collaborate across teams to define measurement plans and contribute to DFT implementation
Analyze wafer-level data to determine pass/fail outcomes and support yield/reliability analysis
Transfer lab methods to production, developing automated test protocols for manufacturing
Optimize test throughput while maintaining accuracy and reliability
Work with manufacturing engineering to implement SPC and improve yield and data analytics
Support supplier qualification and vendor evaluation
Create test documentation and training materials to meet industry standards

Zentrale Anforderungen

Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Engineering, Physics, or related technical discipline
>5 years hands-on ATE systems experience including wafer probers and probe card work
Strong programming skills in Java and Python for test automation
Hands-on electrical, optical, and electro-optical measurements on EIC and PIC devices; RF/high-speed testing a plus
Understanding of PIC/EIC structures and interface architectures
Knowledge of design-for-test (DFT) methodologies in ICs
Proven ability to translate lab methods to production environments
Proficiency in data processing, statistics, and visualization with Python/Java/LabVIEW; SPC experience
Experience in supplier management, incoming material characterization, and vendor qualification
Experience in fast-paced startup or semiconductor manufacturing environment (preferred)
Advanced knowledge of optoelectronic device physics and graphene-based devices (advantage)
