Senior Backend Software Engineer (Observability)

The role The Observability Platform team builds the core services behind Nebius' cloud platform to provide unified logs, metrics, traces, alerting, and troubleshooting. You will work on high-volume telemetry ingestion, distributed storage, query engines, alerting pipelines, and new ways to help engineers understand and operate systems at scale.

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience,
• Strong knowledge of Golang or willingness to switch,
• Experience building distributed backend systems,
• Solid understanding of reliability, scalability, and performance.

Bonus points for experience with observability platforms, telemetry systems, or related open‑source projects (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Jaeger, OpenTelemetry, VictoriaMetrics, Mimir, Tempo, etc.), and ClickHouse in production.
