At TicketSwap, our mission is simple: by bringing fans and experiences together on our marketplace, we enable fans to go to more events they love and support organizers in building lasting success.
With over 19 million fans across 42 countries, we're building a safe, secure, and fair way to experience live events, from festivals and concerts to sports and theater.
As a Business Developer for DACH, you'll focus on expanding our event organizer partnerships. You'll be a commercial driver, someone who understands the market and knows how to turn conversations into long-term collaborations.
You will:
Identify, approach, and close new event organizer and ticketing partnerships across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
Own the full sales cycle: from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and contract closure
Represent TicketSwap at industry events, conferences, and prospect meetings
Collaborate closely with Account Management to ensure smooth partner onboarding
Translate market feedback into actionable insights for internal teams
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments in DACH
Develop regional growth strategies together with the commercial leadership team
Track performance against targets and proactively adjust approaches where needed
Contribute to improving internal sales processes and tooling
We're looking for someone who combines commercial drive with genuine curiosity about the live events industry.
Besides from that, you:
Have at least 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales, ideally within ticketing, events, marketplaces, or tech
Know the DACH market well and understand how the live entertainment ecosystem works
Speak fluent German and English (both written and spoken)
Are confident pitching TicketSwap to stakeholders at different seniority levels
Enjoy building relationships and earning trust over time
Are comfortable negotiating contracts and discussing commercial terms
Take ownership and work independently, while staying closely aligned with your team
Use data to inform decisions and prioritize opportunities
Are proactive, structured, and not afraid to open new doors
Care about fairness and transparency in the live event space
Live in Germany and understand traveling is a part of the job
Work for a mission-driven marketplace that makes live events safer and fairer
Have real ownership over a key growth region
Collaborate with passionate colleagues who care about impact, not ego
Join a fast-scaling international company with big ambitions
Remote work setup, with flexibility to travel within DACH
