(Senior) Clinical Research Scientist – Digital Cardiology & Heart Failure

Join Noah Labs as a Clinical Research Scientist (MD, PhD, or comparable) focused on digital cardiology and heart‑failure management.

We pioneer the Noah Labs Vox platform, which uses machine learning on voice to detect heart‑failure worsening earlier than existing methods, and we aim to become the standard of care through robust clinical evidence.

About the Role

You will be at the heart of our mission, connecting clinical research, scientific development, and medical affairs. The position combines hands‑on trial execution with strategic scientific work in a fast‑moving startup environment.

Working closely with the CMO and R&D team, you will shape the global evidence strategy across pivotal trials, AI validation, and real‑world studies, collaborate with leading international investigators, contribute to scientific dissemination, and serve as a liaison with clinicians and stakeholders across Europe and the US.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Research & Trial Oversight

• Oversee sponsor‑side clinical operations and budgets for multi‑center studies in Europe and the US.
• Lead, execute, and monitor trials in collaboration with CROs and the Noah Labs team.
• Ensure adherence to GCP and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to protocol design, endpoint definitions, and data interpretation.
• Maintain relationships with investigators, study sites, and clinical partners.

Scientific Development & Dissemination

• Draft and co‑author scientific publications and conference presentations (ESC, HFSA, AHA).
• Support preparation of clinical study reports, regulatory submissions, and grant deliverables.
• Analyse literature and trial results to generate insights and translate findings into clinician‑ready products.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Partner with R&D technical members to aggregate results, validate AI models, and integrate clinical findings into algorithm improvements.
• Provide clinical expertise for business development and commercial partnerships across all product lines.
• Ensure clinical context is integrated across departments.

Requirements

• MD or PhD in Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, or related field.
• Clinical or research experience in cardiology.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in clinical practice, research, digital health, or medical device development.
• Advanced understanding of clinical trial methodology and GCP.
• Experience authoring and publishing scientific papers.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Based in Berlin; willing to travel nationally and internationally.

Preferred

• Experience in heart failure, remote monitoring, and/or the US healthcare system.
• Additional business or data analytics experience or degree.
• Regulatory experience (ISO 14155, MDR, FDA).
• Track record in multi‑center trial management.
