Senior Cloud Engineer – Linux Specialist

Stellenbeschreibung:

Design, build, and operate on-premises infrastructures, including private cloud and KVM environments, with a high level of protection
Ensure stable and uninterrupted system operations
Secure the technology stack through security measures and hardening
Monitor supported services to ensure compliance with agreed system availability targets
Proactively resolve and prevent issues
Develop and implement best-practice guidelines
Provision and customize environments for testing and integrating new or updated products and technologies
Automate all tasks using orchestration and configuration management tools

Requirements

Completed IT training, such as training as an IT specialist, a completed degree in computer science, or equivalent professional experience
Professional experience with secure virtualized infrastructures and widely used virtualization solutions
Good knowledge of private-cloud technologies, Kubernetes, OpenStack, pipelining, and GitLab
Practical experience deploying and operating Linux systems
Practical experience managing infrastructure and application monitoring solutions, such as Grafana and Prometheus
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code technologies, such as Ansible
Experience working in regulated environments
LPIC certification is desirable
Team spirit and an open-minded attitude toward new technologies and projects
Enthusiasm for using open-source tools
