(Senior) Cloud Site Reliability Engineer (Scalability) (m/f/x)

As part of the Scalability Engineering Team, you help ensure reliability and scalability of services in a cloud-first fintech platform. You shape monitoring, auto scaling, load testing, chaos engineering, and FinOps practices to keep performance high and costs in check. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate growth and data volume into scalable architectures. You’ll work with modern cloud and DevOps tooling to advance our internal tooling and CI/CD practices. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scalability requirements for growth and data volume
• Design and roll out Monitoring best practices in Datadog with SLIs, SLOs and SLAs
• Research and develop service and storage improvements using serverless tech and optimize CICD for scalability, cost and performance
• Develop and maintain internal tooling around Monitoring, Developer Portal and Load Testing
• Mentor software development teams to promote DevOps culture with reusable building blocks
• Stay updated on industry trends related to scalability and performance engineering
• Design and implement auto scaling practices for infrastructure
• Run chaos engineering experiments to improve resilience

• Multiple years of experience with AWS and infrastructure as code (preferably Terraform)
• Solid experience in Monitoring, Container Orchestration and Microservice setups
• Proficiency in Python and at least one other programming language (Java/Kotlin or JavaScript/Node.js)
• Experience with GitHub Actions and Jenkins would be beneficial
• Understanding of scalable system design, distributed systems and cloud technologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams
• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
• Full professional proficiency in English
