Responsibilities

Take on elevated, original creative projects from the graphic services queue
Create merch concepts, illustrations, brand designs, and packaging
Develop premium typography, composition, color, hierarchy, and finish
Design apparel and promotional products with awareness of product categories and decoration methods
Produce presentation-ready mockups and virtual product imagery
Build visual stories for pitches and presentations that help win and grow accounts
Deliver full brand work, including identities, guidelines, and deliverable libraries
Prepare clean files for production handoff
Collaborate with sales, account managers, and production to get concepts made
Raise the creative standard of work leaving the studio and influence the people around you

Requirements

Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
Real illustration ability, including drawing and building original artwork
Apparel and merch design experience
Working knowledge of decoration methods and production requirements
Experience producing presentation-ready merchandise mockups and virtual product imagery
Packaging design experience
Full branding experience, including identity systems, brand guidelines, and large deliverable libraries
Skilled use of Midjourney and other generative AI image tools, backed by strong prompting
Ability to prepare clean files for handoff to production designers
Portfolio demonstrating range, taste, and craft
Ability to run multiple jobs simultaneously without losing attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work with sales, account managers, and production
Nice to have: Strong working knowledge of Canva, including brand kit and template management
Nice to have: Photography direction for product shoots
Nice to have: Command of lighting, composition, and staging for art direction
Nice to have: Comfort operating an in-house DSLR and strobe kit
Nice to have: Motion graphics or short-form video editing
Nice to have: Familiarity with Asana or a similar project management tool
Nice to have: Agency experience
