Senior Data Engineer (Cloud FinOps) (Fully Remote)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the Cloud Economics team's data pipelines, automation systems, and datasets for cost visibility, attribution, and insights.
• Design and implement highly scalable data models and ingestion frameworks to support large-scale telemetry and usage data.
• Develop specialized tooling enabling cost-aware decision‑making across Product, Engineering, and Finance.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong Data Engineering background with proven experience building end-to-end ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Strong SQL and Python skills with direct experience using Snowflake.
• Direct experience with orchestration tools such as dbt, Airflow, or Dagster.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Proficiency in Scala.
• FinOps Foundation Certification.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization and multi-cloud environments (AWS and GCP).
