At NavVis, we build cutting-edge technology that powers spatial intelligence across industries. As a Developer Experience Engineer, you will shape how our developers build, test, and ship world-class software.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on solving complex engineering problems, improving development ecosystems, and creating tools that make other engineers faster and more effective. You will work at the intersection of DevOps, tooling, platform engineering, and software development — partnering with teams across the organization to remove friction, boost velocity, and define how code moves from idea to production.
If you enjoy enhancing build systems, scaling CI/CD pipelines, and crafting a smooth end-to-end developer experience, this role offers both autonomy and the opportunity to influence engineering excellence at NavVis.
You will enhance the end-to-end developer experience by improving local development environments, build systems, testing workflows, and internal development tooling.
You will be deeply involved in designing, building, and maintaining automated, reproducible CI/CD pipelines (infrastructure as code) and development infrastructure that scale with our engineering needs.
You will majorly contribute to the building, testing, and releasing processes to improve developer velocity and reduce friction across engineering teams.
You are responsible for creating robust tooling, frameworks, and automation that streamline code development, testing, and deployment workflows.
You will ensure and sustain close collaboration with engineering teams to identify workflow pain points, establish best practices, and drive improvements in onboarding, productivity, and internal processes.
You act as a catalyst for engineering excellence by championing developer-centric solutions, continuously evaluating new tools, and proposing improvements to how we build and deliver software.
A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science or relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
You bring 5+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Developer Experience, or Software Engineering roles

Knowledge of modern build systems and source control workflows (CMake, Bazel, Gradle, Git)
Hands‑on experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
