SENIOR DEVOPS & PLATFORM ENGINEER (m/f/d)

In this role, you will play a central role in the operation and further development of our platform and cloud environments. You will ensure stability, security, and performance, set high technical standards, drive automation and observability, and develop our platform sustainably toward a modern, scalable infrastructure. Together with the team, you will shape the platform strategy and put it into practice.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operation, administration, and further development of our hosting and cloud environments (including Linux production systems)
• Ensuring the availability, stability, security, performance, and scalability of the platform
• Setting up, operating, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, as well as implementing Infrastructure-as-Code approaches
• Responsibility for monitoring, logging, alerting, and further development of our observability landscape
• Analysis and resolution of incidents, as well as support for root cause analysis and sustainable quality improvement
• Active involvement in shaping a modern, scalable platform architecture, including standardization and gradual modernization (e.g., containerization)
• Contributing to backup/disaster recovery concepts, security & compliance standards, as well as close collaboration with dev teams and participation in architecture and decision-making processes

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• Several years of experience in platform, DevOps, or operations engineering
• Very good knowledge of operating Linux systems
• Experience with hosting and cloud environments (e.g., Hetzner, AWS, or Azure)
• Experience with CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
• Experience operating business-critical systems
• Structured, reliable, and solution-oriented approach to work
• Enjoyment of teamwork and technical responsibility

Nice to have

• Experience with container & platform technologies
• Security & reliability expertise
• Initial experience with technical BI/data platforms
