Senior Financial Analyst (Fully Remote)

• PLOS is a nonprofit open access publisher seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to interpret and communicate financial data.
• This role drives annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis while partnering with stakeholders.
• You will support organizational transformation and need to be flexible and accurate.

Responsibilities:

• Perform actual to budget variance analysis and highlight risks and opportunities.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasts with key stakeholders.
• Build financial models, support scenario planning, and ensure data integrity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; 4-7 years of FP&A experience.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with budgeting systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate financial data for non-financial audiences.
