Senior Food Regulatory Manager

Responsibilities

• You assess our products for marketability and regulatory compliance in the EU and the USA
• You review product descriptions and marketing copy for compliance with food law
• You collaborate with Product Management, R&D, Business Development, Marketing and Customer Support during product conception, development and launch preparation on food law-related issues
• You monitor changes in food legislation and translate them into appropriate actions for the affected areas
• You handle regulatory objections and official inquiries
• You manage product notifications

Requirements

• You hold a degree in food chemistry, food technology, pharmacy or a related field
• You have 2–3 years of professional experience in Regulatory Affairs, preferably in the food industry or a related sector (e.g., pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements)
• You have solid knowledge of relevant national and international laws, guidelines and regulations (EU & USA) for food and dietary supplements
• You have strong skills in evaluating product specifications and labeling, and basic knowledge of food ingredients
• You are a strong communicator and team player
• You work independently and in a structured manner and can organize your workload effectively
• You have excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
• You have very good MS Office skills
