Senior HR Generalist

Stellenbeschreibung:

Holistic responsibility for a defined area at the Seelze site and, as needed, support for other locations.
Advising and supporting managers on all personnel-related matters — both in operational day-to-day issues and on strategic topics.
Close collaboration with management and understanding of business requirements and their impact on HR processes and people strategies.
Support in workforce planning, resource planning and organizational development.
Collaboration with the recruiting team in carrying out recruitment activities, candidate selection and decision-making.
Ensuring compliance with and the continuous development of HR processes, standards and policies, as well as implementing global corporate requirements.
Participation in and independent leadership of local and cross-site HR projects and change initiatives.
Analysis and preparation of relevant HR metrics and the use of modern HR systems and digital HR tools.
Trustful and constructive cooperation with the works council, including independently preparing and conducting negotiations at site level.
Responsibility for the performance management process as well as advising and coaching managers in talent management, organizational development and succession planning.
Active support of change processes and continuous improvement within the organization.

Requirements

University degree in business, law or social sciences with a focus on HR, or an equivalent qualification.
At least eight years of professional experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in an international company or corporate group with a matrix organization.
Solid knowledge of German labor and works council law and several years of experience collaborating with works councils.
Analytical mindset and a structured, process-oriented way of working.
Experience in change management and enthusiasm for actively shaping change.
Strong communication and advisory skills, initiative and a confident professional presence.
High level of personal responsibility, assertiveness and a pronounced hands-on mentality.
Team-oriented and solution-focused working style.
Very good MS Office skills and experience with modern HR information systems.
Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
