Senior Immigration Lawyer

In this role you will lead a portfolio of corporate clients through German immigration processes, ensuring compliant, efficient cases and high-quality service. You will act as a trusted advisor, shaping immigration strategy and handling complex matters for VIP clients while contributing to business development and team leadership. The position combines legal expertise with client-focused delivery in a global recruitment context. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive growth and risk-managed outcomes.

• Own and manage end-to-end immigration processes for a portfolio of clients
• Ensure compliance with German immigration laws, regulations and procedures
• Lead complex and high-profile immigration cases and oversee budgets/profitability
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs to maintain service standards
• Serve as primary client contact with clear, commercially focused guidance
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and client experience
• Support business development activities, including tenders and client events
• Mentor and lead a team of immigration specialists
• Drive risk-management and confidentiality in client dealings
• Represent the firm at events and as a subject matter expert

• German-qualified lawyer with extensive knowledge of German immigration law
• Up-to-date knowledge of German immigration legislation and practice
• Experience managing large-scale, complex client programmes
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management
• Analytical, commercially aware, and detail-oriented
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel as required
• Experience mentoring teams
• Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
