With annual raw milk deliveries exceeding 1.3 billion kilograms, Meierei Barmstedt eG is one of the largest dairy processing companies in Germany. At our two locations in Barmstedt and Neumünster, we process raw milk according to the highest technical and hygienic standards into sliced cheese, pasta filata/mozzarella cheese, butter, whey powder, cream, and milk and whey concentrates. We distribute our products to wholesalers and retailers, large-scale consumers, and industrial processors both domestically and internationally. With our approximately 300 employees, including 18 apprentices, we generate sales of nearly 800 million euros.
For our IT department at the Barmstedt location, we are seeking a technically and personally compelling employee (m/f/d) to join our team as soon as possible to support our locations in Barmstedt and Neumünster as
Senior IT Administrator (m/f/d)

• Administration of virtualized (VMWare) Windows servers
• Management and coordination of IT projects and service providers
• Administration of the local network infrastructure (Aruba, Sophos, HPE)
• Administration of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online)
• Supporting users with IT issues
• Monitoring the infrastructure (Zabbix)
• Creating, expanding, and maintaining IT documentation
• Administration of the telephone system (3CX)

• Completed vocational training, e.g., as an IT specialist in system integration, IT systems electronics technician (m/f/d), or a degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in IT administration, ideally in a comparable senior position
• Experience in the administration of Windows servers and Active Directory
• Knowledge of network technology (VLANs, routing, firewalls)
• Experience in Linux server administration (Debian/Ubuntu)
• Experience in IT security; knowledge of NIS2, BSI Basic Protection, or ISOis desirable
• Experience in virtualization (VMware vSphere)
• Basic scripting skills
• Good written and spoken German, as well as basic English skills (especially for understanding technical documentation)
• Class B driver’s license
