Senior IT Application Lead / Application Manager (m/f/d) – Inhouse & Hybrid

On behalf of our client – a large, internationally operating company in the transport and service sector – we are seeking an experienced IT leader (m/f/d) for direct placement. In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive support and further development of a globally used, business-critical enterprise platform for resource and personnel planning. Software Development & Architecture: You will play a key role in shaping the technical development of the application within a modern tech stack (.NET, Angular, Azure Cloud) and manage the development teams and solution architects. Quality Assurance & Test Management: You will define the end-to-end QA strategy (SIT, regression, UAT, performance) and build modern test automation frameworks within CI/CD pipelines. IT Service & Operations: You will ensure 24/7 global system availability, monitor performance (via Dynatrace), and establish ITIL-compliant incident, problem, and change management processes. Leadership & Vendor Management: You will assume technical leadership of international IT teams (development, QA, operations) and coordinate external IT service providers according to agile principles. Compliance & Security: You will ensure auditable documentation and adherence to strict security and governance standards (OWASP, SOX). Stakeholder Management: You will act as a reliable point of contact for product owners, business units, and IT interfaces (including occasional international business trips).

• Qualifikation: Ein erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik oder eine vergleichbare IT-Ausbildung.

• Erfahrung: Langjährige (idealerweise 8+ Jahre) fundierte Berufserfahrung im IT-Application-Management, in der Softwareentwicklung oder im IT-Service-Betrieb von komplexen Enterprise-Systemen.

• Tech-Stack: Ausgeprägte Kenntnisse in moderner Softwarearchitektur (.NET, Angular), Cloud-Plattformen (Microsoft Azure), Containerisierung (Kubernetes, Docker) und CI/CD.

• Methoden & Tools: Sicherer Umgang mit Test-Frameworks (z. B. Selenium), Monitoring (Dynatrace), Azure DevOps (Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow) sowie tiefe Expertise in agilen Methoden (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) und ITIL-Prozessen.

• Persönlichkeit & Führung: Sie bringen Erfahrung in der fachlichen oder disziplinarischen Führung von Teams sowie in der Steuerung externer Provider mit.

• Sprachen: Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse (C1+) runden Ihr Profil ab.
