Senior / Lead SAP Solution Architect - Core Banking (m/f/d)

As Lead Solution Architect for Core Banking, you shape modern banking architectures and lead strategic transformation programs. You will guide clients through modernization and optimization of core banking platforms, leveraging SAP Fioneer solutions to deliver scalable, compliant, and agile architectures. You work with business and IT stakeholders to translate goals into tangible designs, drive architectural leadership across initiatives, and help shape product roadmaps. • Engage with prospects, customers, and sales teams to understand business requirements and transformation challenges in core banking
• Articulate customer needs and solution approaches using deep industry and technology knowledge
• Translate banking processes into robust, scalable architectures based on SAP Fioneer products
• Design target architectures and scalable solutions for complex business problems
• Perform fit-gap analyses and align designs with strategic objectives and regulatory guardrails
• Advise customers on optimal use of SAP Fioneer solutions for modernization and cost efficiency
• Drive opportunities, transformation projects, and innovation initiatives as architectural lead
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape roadmaps and ensure market alignment
• Provide coaching to team members and promote knowledge sharing

• 12+ years of professional experience in consulting, banking, or software companies in architecture, transformation, or core banking implementations based on SAP Banking components
• Proven track record delivering complex transformation or modernization programs in banking
• Deep expertise in core banking domains (deposits, lending, account management, product engines, regulatory processes)
• Strong understanding of modern technology stacks, integration architectures, and cloud transformation
• Academic degree in relevant fields; MBA or PhD is a plus
• Excellent communication skills in English; German a plus
