Senior Manager and Team Lead Design for Test (DFT) (f/m/div)

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Vision: Define the team's vision, mission, and long-term strategy to maintain a best-in-class position while driving innovation and anticipating future needs
• Team Management & Development: Oversee all people management aspects, including performance reviews, salary contributions, skill development, and efforts to attract, retain, and motivate team members
• Project Delivery & Customer Alignment: Guide the team to deliver high-quality work products on time and within budget, ensuring strict alignment with customer requirements
• Process Optimization: Design, deploy, and maintain efficient and effective processes and procedures to streamline team operations
• Risk Mitigation & Pre-Development: Proactively invest in pre-development activities to mitigate technology risks and address competency gaps before they impact projects
• Performance Measurement: Establish and track specific metrics and KPIs to accurately measure team performance, quality standards, and strategic progress
• Stakeholder & Partner Relations: Build trust through transparency, manage site-specific obligations with suppliers/partners, resolve conflicts via escalation paths, and create win-win situations with all stakeholders

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• A Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or similar
• Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry, including several years as people manager in leading technical teams
• Understanding of principles and concepts in DFT, chip design, verification, production test, and SoC architectures at both mid-range and high levels
• Comprehensive grasp of the semiconductor product development lifecycle and digital design for test methodologies
• Ability to exercise functional authority over product items, manage diverse stakeholders, and provide tailored transparency, KPIs, and status reports to build business trust
• Proven methodological skills to drive internal change, establish an agile mindset within the team, and effectively instruct team members; self-motivated with the ability to solve complex problems proactively in a fast-changing product environment
• Fluency in English; German as a plus
