Senior Manager Group Accounting (m/f/d)

In this role you drive complex group accounting and reporting under IFRS and HGB, coordinating across international entities. You will shape group-wide accounting standards, support consolidation efforts, and communicate key topics to leadership. You will advance automation and SAP-driven initiatives to improve quality and efficiency, while partnering with global stakeholders. • Lead complex accounting, consolidation and reporting under IFRS and HGB; assess challenging transactions and implement new accounting standards
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements with notes under IFRS and coordinate with interface functions and the Group auditor
• Advise globally operating production and distribution entities on accounting, reporting and governance topics; ensure consistent application of group standards
• Monitor balance sheet, P&L and cash flow developments; provide actionable recommendations
• Oversee consolidation and elimination topics, perform plausibility checks and ensure quality assurance
• Contribute to Management Board and Supervisory Board reporting; prepare management decision papers on accounting issues
• Drive development of group-wide accounting standards, guidelines and best practices; mentor through trainings and stakeholder engagement
• Identify optimization opportunities in consolidation and reporting processes; champion automation and Agentic-AI-based solutions
• Contribute expertise to strategic Finance and SAP S/4HANA initiatives

• 7+ years of relevant group accounting experience in an international, listed group or equivalent auditing background with focus on IFRS
• Professional qualification as German CPA (Wirtschaftsprüfer) or tax advisor (Steuerberater) is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and German GAAP (HGB)
• Deep understanding of group structures, intercompany processes and complex transactions
• Analytical and conceptual skills; ability to present complex topics clearly
• High affinity for digitalization, systems and process improvement
• Experience with ERP/consolidation systems (e.g., SAP FI/CO, SEM BCS)
• Very good German and English written/spoken skills
