Senior Platform Owner

We're looking for a Senior Platform Owner to lead the delivery of complex technology platforms and drive strategic priorities across multiple teams in a permanent, full‑time role. You'll shape platform direction, mentor Platform Owners, and work closely with architects, engineers and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable and resilient solutions that support great customer and team experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and prioritise backlogs for complex technology platforms across multiple teams.
• Drive backlog quality and balance feature delivery with technical debt, security and compliance priorities.
• Manage dependencies, risks and stakeholder communication.
• Partner with architects, engineers and stakeholders to deliver scalable and resilient platform solutions.
• Influence platform decisions by balancing value, risk and operational needs.
• Mentor Platform Owners and Associate Platform Owners and promote Agile best practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis or Engineering, including Product Owner experience in Agile environments.
• Proven experience managing complex platforms across multiple teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and backlog management tools such as Jira.
• Understanding of APIs, cloud platforms, data services and contact centre or telco technologies.
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g. Postman) and browser developer tools is advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
