Senior Product Specialist, Agentic AI - Retail (f/m/d)

As Senior Product Specialist at SAP Consumer Industries, you lead the end-to-end development of an AI-powered store associate app. You partner with engineering, design, and retailers to translate needs into scalable product solutions and MVPs. • Translate user needs into functional AI-driven product solutions and prototype workflows
• Define MVP scope and prioritize features considering impact, feasibility, UX, cost, and latency
• Collaborate with engineering to implement robust production systems and deploy AI models
• Own product success metrics: adoption, engagement, and outcomes
• Design evaluation frameworks for AI workflows and validate model behavior pre- and post-deployment
• Participate in agile ceremonies and communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs
• Conduct user research and field insights to ensure problem-solution fit for store workflows
• Turn ambiguous asks into defined product opportunities and roadmaps
• Own backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and agile execution with Jira/Confluence
• Collaborate daily with Architect and Senior Developer on system design and trade-offs
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate discovery and delivery
• Contribute to a collaborative, experimentation-driven co-innovation culture
• Oversee full lifecycle of AI features from deployment to monitoring and improvement
• Ensure enterprise-grade quality, scalability, and readiness for global deployment

• 3–5 years of product management experience in AI-driven solutions, retail tech, or enterprise software
• Solid technical fluency: cloud-native architectures, AI fundamentals, agentic AI concepts
• Experience using product analytics to inform decisions and validate hypotheses
• Ability to work in small, autonomous squads with rapid iteration
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and similar tooling
• Passion for user experience, especially for frontline workers
• Strong product craft and ownership mindset balancing user value, constraints, and business goals
• Enthusiasm for co-innovation with customers in real operational contexts
• Nice to have: hands-on familiarity with SAP S/4HANA or SAP Business AI
