Senior Project Manager – BESS EPC

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for approved projects and manage them across all project phases; from RTB (Ready to Build), construction and grid connection through to commissioning
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and to clarify and resolve operational issues on site
• Comprehensive tracking, forecasting and reporting to ensure adherence to cost, schedule and quality targets
• Review, manage and enforce EPC and supplier contracts to ensure full contractual compliance
• Represent the project to external stakeholders such as investors, authorities and grid operators
• Lead project teams and actively contribute to shaping and further developing project standards, benchmarks and processes within the organization

Requirements

• Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a comparable field
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in project management with demonstrable increases in responsibility, task complexity and measurable project successes
• Experience in project commissioning, including tracking contractor performance and issuing site releases in the context of construction progress and quality control
• Strong negotiation skills and a high level of intercultural sensitivity in an international business environment
• Business‑fluent English (spoken and written) and German at C1 level
• Willingness to travel extensively within Germany
