This opportunity offers the chance to take on a foundational leadership role within a fast-growing data centre developer, leading a live construction project in one of Germany's key strategic availability zones. You'll have the autonomy to shape project delivery from the ground up while building and developing the local team, with clear progression into a senior leadership position as the region continues to expand.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex data centre design and construction projects end-to-end, taking full accountability for project success
• Manage the project independently on-site, drawing on daily support from technical consultants
• Bring stakeholders and supporting functions on board, including managing pushback and conflict at a senior level
• Represent the project with a strong voice, working closely with the hiring manager and other directors
• Build and mentor a growing regional team as new projects come online
• Travel as required to support the wider regional portfolio

Skills/Must Have

• Strong construction project management background; data centre experience a bonus but not required
• Fluent German speaker, based in Germany (Frankfurt area preferred; other major German or Swiss cities considered)
• Strong leadership and conflict-resolution skills, comfortable holding ground with senior stakeholders
• Able to operate independently while working within a collaborative team structure
• Willing to travel and committed to a long-term future with the business as the team grows
• On-site presence required, remote or fly-in arrangements are not suitable for this role
• Modest, hardworking, team-first attitude valued over self-proclaimed expertise

Salary
