Senior Project Manager RF Technology (f/m/div)

As a Senior Project Manager RF Technology (f/m/div) on our Research & Development team, you'll have the opportunity to merge creativity with your technical expertise by shaping the future of technology, driving groundbreaking projects, and bringing new ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead high-complexity wafer RF technology development projects with noticeable impact in the RF business line, planning, organizing, and controlling them throughout their entire life-cycle from definition phase to volume production
  • Execute projects with responsibility for project budget and achievement of project targets, ensuring successful project outcomes
  • Manage risks and their mitigation within the project professionally, identifying and addressing potential issues to minimize impact
  • Act as an interface to surrounding organizations such as silicon foundries, internal production sites, central functions, and internal business owners, facilitating communication and collaboration
  • Report to project owner and R&D line management, providing updates and insights on project progress and performance
  • Lead and manage a diverse and cross-functional project team with members from multiple locations, fostering collaboration and driving team success
  • Contribute to improving the project environment and methodology in the department as well as at Infineon, driving continuous improvement and innovation

Your Profile

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar, with a PhD being a plus, providing a strong foundation in technical principles and practices
  • At least 6 years of relevant work experience in a high-tech environment like the semiconductor industry, with at least 4 years of experience as a project manager, demonstrating a strong track record of project management and leadership
  • Experience with the development of wafer technologies, with RF knowledge being an advantage, as well as experience in project management of wafer technology development, RF-technologies and/or thin-wafer technologies
  • An IPMA C or equivalent project management qualification, demonstrating expertise in project management methodologies and best practices
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a cross-functional, multi-site and international environment, with strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Experience in leading and managing diverse and cross-functional teams, with a strong focus on driving team success and delivering project outcomes
  • Fluent in English and German, with excellent language skills and the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
