Job Overview

Senior SAP ERP Developer – Enterprise Systems team.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and develop software.
• Collaborate on a daily scrum team with a scrum master, product owner, analysts, other developers, and testers to iteratively deliver functional code to production.
• Provide technical leadership for projects and products to ensure usability, usefulness, feasibility, and cost effectiveness.
• Work with analysts and customers to establish product or project requirements.
• Contribute innovative solutions while utilizing best practices, design standards, and governance.
• Research technology trends and contribute to designs and technology platform decisions.
• Mentor, lead, and train other developers.
• May include on‑call duties.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of related professional experience (work, education, transferable skills, and military experience considered).
• Cloud Service Provider Certification (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals) required within one year of employment.
• Strong development experience using SAP, ABAP, Fiori, JavaScript, SAPUI5, SAP GUI, ABAP Development Tools (ADT) in Eclipse, SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Connector, and GitHub (or similar).
• Knowledge of production operations: monitoring daily business operations, managing and troubleshooting SAP background jobs (SM37), scheduled batch chains.
• Workflow administration: managing and supporting SAP Business Workflow, monitoring work items, resolving stuck processes, and maintaining routing for Finance and HR approvals.
• Integration support: technical support for inbound and outbound interfaces with third‑party vendors, ensuring data integrity and timely transmission.
• Functional troubleshooting: partner with business users to perform root‑cause analysis on production issues, provide workarounds and long‑term fixes.
• High school diploma (or equivalency) and legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience with agile, DevOps, IT Service Management, and related development and support methodologies.
• Prototype design and implementation experience.
• Modern web & data development: TypeScript, Node.js, React.js, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, XML, data modeling (Star Schema, LSA++).
• Emerging SAP technologies: SAP Screen Personas, SAP Workflow/Flexible Workflow, exposure to SAP Leonardo or AI/ML.
• ALM & DevOps: SAP Solution Manager, Focused Build, ChaRM, GitLab/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines.
• Project & Incident Management tools: TDX, Jira, Microsoft Teams.
• Documentation: Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft 365 suite.
• Deep knowledge of SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, SAP HR/HCM, logical databases, HR macros, payroll/benefits interfaces.
• Application architecture, ETL processes, performance tuning (SQL Trace, Runtime Analysis).
• Peer code reviews, debugging standard SAP code, applying SAP Notes via SNOTE.
• Preferred certifications: SAP Certified Development Associate – ABAP with SAP NetWeaver; AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.

Role Designation

Teleworking full‑time remote; hybrid requires a minimum of two days onsite; onsite is full‑time onsite.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual salary ranges from $102,400.00 to $174,200.00, based on skills, ability, and knowledge.
