Senior Secure OT Software Engineer

Overview

Gofore is seeking a Senior Secure OT Software Engineer to develop secure industrial and Operational Technology (OT) software. The role involves working on long-term security-critical OT projects across public and private sectors, focusing on embedded systems, hardware interfaces, and embedded Linux / Yocto Linux customization. The engineer will ensure security is integrated throughout the system lifecycle, promote secure development practices, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including security experts, QA, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure OT software for embedded systems and OT environments.
• Contribute to secure software practices across the software lifecycle and promote security-minded development.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including security experts, QA, and clients.
• Work on long-term OT projects across public and private sectors, with emphasis on embedded Linux / Yocto Linux customization and hardware interfaces.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Expertise in secure software practices and embedded C/C++.
• Experience with OT protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA, and CAN.
• Familiarity with device security concepts (secure boot, firmware integrity).
• Knowledge of IEC 62443 standards; experience with OT-IT bridging is advantageous.
