(Senior) Software Engineer (all genders, full-/part-time)

In this role you design and deliver data and AI solutions at scale to empower enabling functions like HR, procurement, and legal. You’ll work in a distributed, product-focused team to translate business needs into robust data platforms and applications. You’ll own data pipelines and governance, ensuring security and compliance while collaborating with stakeholders to shape technical direction. The role offers exposure to AI/analytics use cases and growing a Spain-based hub within a global function.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable applications, data pipelines, and platform components that translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Develop robust applications and interfaces that replace manual processes with intuitive user experiences
• Own data platforms with focus on cost efficiency, governance, security, and compliance across the data lifecycle
• Partner with stakeholders across the delivery pod to understand needs and shape technical direction
• Shape the future of data engineering leveraging Snowflake, AWS, and Palantir Foundry
• Contribute to the Spain-based hub within a global team and work on high-visibility AI use cases across automation, carbon footprint analytics, and procurement intelligence

• Several years of proven software engineering experience in enterprise environments
• Proficiency in Python and Spark
• Strong practices in version control, CI/CD, and automated testing
• Hands-on with Palantir Foundry, Snowflake, and PySpark
• Understand data pipeline architecture, governance, data lineage, privacy and security, and compliance
• Ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions and communicate with non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with AI workflows, MLOps, AI safety, or CI/CD for AI components is a plus
• University degree or equivalent in a technical or engineering discipline
• Comfort with distributed, international teams and occasional travel within Europe
• Strong English communication; German is a plus
