About the role Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the development of high-fidelity engineering and training simulations for various aircraft. This role focuses on creating and integrating visualisation solutions within our distributed real-time applications, playing a key part in the entire development lifecycle.

What you'll do

• - Design and implement advanced visualisation solutions for simulation applications.
• - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of visualisation components into the simulation framework.

Requirements

• - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• - Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, particularly in simulation or visualisation technologies.
• - Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python.
• - Experience with real-time systems and distributed application architectures.
• - Familiarity with graphics APIs like OpenGL or DirectX.

Nice to have

• - Knowledge of virtual and augmented reality technologies.
• - Experience with 3D modelling and rendering techniques.

Skills & tools

• - Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
