(Senior) Software Engineer - Pricing (m/f/d)

In this role you own end-to-end pricing problems, from business intent to production outcome, collaborating with Product to translate goals into technical strategy. You design, ship, and validate pricing solutions for car-rental yield management, aiming to move key metrics. You build robust, automated checks to prevent issues and leverage AI tooling to accelerate delivery. This position offers ownership over the pricing stack, with a focus on performance, reliability, and measurable impact.

• Own pricing problems from conception to production deployment and monitoring
• Partner with Product to translate business goals into technical strategies
• Clarify ambiguity into concrete, testable acceptance criteria and edge cases
• Encode standards into automated checks to block issues and enable root-cause diagnosis
• Leverage AI tooling to accelerate spec-to-working solutions and test coverage in pricing
• Set technical direction for performance, reliability, and correctness across the pricing stack
• Collaborate with peers to shape architecture and outcomes

• Proficient in C++ as the primary language for latency-critical pricing core
• Experience building scalable distributed systems; Golang is a strong plus
• Strong systems thinking to reason about trade-offs in reliability, performance, and correctness
• Outcome-driven mindset with focus on measurable results over code volume
